Besides if I could just make this round trip every other week I'll be happy as can be. This leg pays good considering what I see being posted.

 

If it's one of those I saw, I thought about trying, but if you grabbed 1, I didn't have a chance for the other.

If it was in NV, they were gone about the same time, but it was a 500 mile dh for, that's why I hesitated

 

That's ok, I think I'm going to build a shelf for my sleeper this weekend, gives me time to do that.

 

That's it, and I wouldn't DH that far for that rate. Something good will pop up.

 

I talked to a quality van driver last night at the rock hill flying J. He said his daily contribution is 90 a day. He's making decent money he lets the agent plan out his week.

The one thing that I thought was funny is he blames his agent for not giving him enough time to do all the loads. In that "I'm a victim" truck driver voice.

 

Yeah, like I said, I want to build that shelf, got an oil change, in line for a truck wash, and it's nice out, I may go golfing tomorrow. Like I said, the load I brought out here, I did so because it paid enough I don't mind sitting a few days. Only set plans I have are to be in Louisville a few days before MATS, due for my inspection. Otherwise, a week off at home sometime between now and then and I'm happy.
