Also, some agents want a call from you because they don't want to get freight they can't cover. Some people think they have a in with the agent and are getting secret freight. There isn't as much secret freight as people think.

Some agents just won't take certain loads simply because they know they won't have anybody to cover it.
It took for me to have to call my local agent to let him know I lived in his area..unfortunately most of his stuff goes on a rgn or step but just the communication with him helps becuase he didn't even know I lived therevangtransport Thanks this. -

I get alot of the secret freight. But don't tell anyone.
They give it to me because I have a pretty truck.

It sounds to me like it's a combination of truck drivers lie to make them selves big shots , and Agents booking freight they normally can't cover so they book it on the condition that they have the truck first - hence no need to post it .
