I got a used Melton KW t660 Cummins ISX 2012

system took a big #### had a check eg light over Christmas KW little rock said containment in def 3 grand 3rd load out light back on took back to KW hose they didn't hook up rite melted back out 2nd load light back on stop at KW in Springfield MO def again 1400 and on the road heading to NM got as far as OK city light back on ended up in KW in Tulsa OK they had the new machine to run a complete test 11 grand there and I haven't had a problem since knock on wood

 

May have been under 400k when he picked it up but it isn't now. He was here for close to a year.

 

P.S. Mines not a quality truck no returning it so it's fix it and add the 1K less I make in payments to the maintenance budget and keep my fingers crossed

 

Ya I understand his frustration I was getting pretty PO myself seem like they were guessing at what the problem was clearing the fault running a system check witch wasn't tripping the fault I about blew a gasket when I barely got 300 miles from Springfield Missouri and the check engine light came back on

 

He had an ISX also. Was the first time I had actually seen one in a Cascadia. Really looked like an old motor compared to the DD15s I'm use to seeing. Maybe it's the yellow paint? Lol.

 

Is parking back to normal at the yard?

He told me to my face it had less than 400k on it. When I talked to him. Like 389 k or something.

 

Is 2012 a bad year for emmisions??? Another question is there a good year for them?

Do DD and Volvo's not have the same catastrophic repair costs for the emissions?
