I don't mind the hotel stay. I've been putting off doing my taxes this year (I do my own) and this gives me a chance to quit procrastinating. I've started on them a few times, but then sidetracked myself so I wouldn't finish. One more night in here and I will be done, which is way further than the last 4 weeks have gotten me.

Not too bad, was supposed to get the KW rate for the hotel, but they misunderstood me when I said Mercer, so I go the Marten rate, which was cheaper. $133 for 2 nights and the truck was warranteed. They said that everything was because of the differential sensor, but the shop foreman doesn't get that (and neither do i) so he asked me to call him in a couple of days and let him know if it's still drinking DEF fluid or if it's good now. I guess we will see.

 

A differential sensor? LOL if that's true these things really are way to integrated. Glad your rolling again.

 

Yeah, that's what they said. I get how that would affect power, mpg, cause the check engine light to be on, and even been the culprit in the loud bang if it were the differential unlocking while free spinning or whatever, but what I don't get is how ANY of that has to do with the DEF to diesel consumption ratio.
