Sorry just takes so long to read and then someone else will chime in and then it gets off onto a whole other subject

 

It's your truck, you are not required to take toll roads. If you choose to thensure it's your dime. You know exactly how much money you will get for a load. Is it enough to cover tolls?

27 years here, I have been on that back row many many times. I've made some good money out west.

When I signed on my first load was to Florida next load to Phoenix. A little slow out of the gate, but I got it figured out and have had a great life here at Mercer

 

Yes it takes time to read. It's a long thread. But it's your money. I've been very successful here. I give most credit to the fact that I read the whole thread before I asked a single question. Everything you ate asking has already been answered. It's your business and your money. Isn't that worth a few (ok several) hours or days of reading? It ends up it was for me.

 

I love the back row and how we help eachother. But I won't sit there for a week making no money when there is great money to be made. You have been here a long time and know way better than I do. I hope I get the chance to pick your brain before you retire.

 

My success is in the past, It does not fit the Mercer of today. Mercer of today needs people like you and the others on this board who are successful. My advice is yesterday, your advice is for today.

 

I respectfully disagree. I think everyone needs all sides. I know I needed and still need your side. Your success is still today. I understand your thoughts but I know I'm not the only one that wants you to stay. But I look forward to retirement and I am sure you are too. I don't know how you run, and maybe ELD will hurt you. But I'm lazy and they haven't hurt me one bit.

Your input here is needed just like everyone else's. I beg you to give ELD's 3 months. That is all. I think you have to pay for it now. I'll make you a deal. I'll pay for it but if after 3 Months you like it you have to pay me back. If you hate it and quit? I'm out the money.

 

Can't believe I just said that. Well I have to be a man of my word right?

 

Well I have it narrowed down to a 53' flat with conastoga , or a 53' step deck with ramps and levelers and tarps and with 22.5 tires!! I'm proud of myself! Now if I could only get everybody else opinion it would help. Oh and definitely MERCER!!!!
