Doesn't it frighten you to go into business with nothing left? why not wait until much is saved so failure isn't an option?

Take into account it has the Park Smart system, not an APU. You will have at best 8-10 hours of cooling and electricity to use. It is a battery powered system.

I
I have to agree with you I had about 28k startup buy the time you take about 500 for Dino and an outside shop to go over the truck 10k down 2.5k for OK registration fees 250 federal road tax I probably spent close to 3k on tarps and load securement and that doesn't count the fact when I got a trailer hooked to my truck at Mercer the ABS light stayed on the trailer problem on the truck side and of course my first load I didn't even make it to Nashville when one of the brand new super singles recaps through half the tread with it being my first load Mercer needed payment up front before they would put it on the National account think that bill came to 1300 i am glad I had extre funds and I would say not having a maintenance fund cushion is a dumb way to start with a truck you just got unless of course it was brand-new
P.S. This doesn't even take into account neither I or the shop I had to check out the truck caught the fact the AC didn't work due to a hole in the condenser and also had my alternator go out in the first two monthsLast edited: May 25, 2016
Reason for edit: dang spell checkDriverdad Thanks this. -
I would never do business without oh #### money - Im comfortable with the payments on a 2012 . I wanted Pre emission but didn't have my heart set on it . ill just have to put a little more away for maintenance each settlement .
-
Yeah I read all about those alot of people had complaints .
-
I intend to do that - After I drop 5 k on a down payment Ill still have 20 k left . of course once I buy all my stuff and plates and tax I should have 10 k left in the Catastrophic repair fund . -
I would say be prepared I don't know about the d15 but I have a 2012 used Melton truck kW t660 Cummins ISX I also met up with another mercer guy with the same we both ended up dumping a
Little over 15k into the def system at a little over 450k miles i managed to squeeze bye and am still turning a profit even with the freight being slow but the other guy told me he got his lender to add it to the end of his note also keep in mind there is a learning curve hereCJndaTruck and Driverdad Thank this. -
Really would advise a pre emissions truck or, at most an EGR truck.....
Also, if your gonna go into hock for that much money, get a 13 speed...... -
So I remember reading a few hundred pages back where some of the guys don't like dealing with the "coverage" when their coordinator goes on vacation.
I have to say, the guy covering my coordinator this week has been amazing and made me quite a bit of money! Even apologized for calling me so much, which I laughed about because if you're making me money, call me all you want too!Mr huds Thanks this. -
Do all the coordinators take a couple extra days off this week or do you have Alice's well
