mercer transportation

On 34 now

 

I know this was written in 2012 but it got me to thinking.
How are rates now compared to then?
I checked ups and thier rates are currently 1.08/ mile

How dose this transfer to mercer?
Are mercer rates way down from 2012

 

Just make sure your not comparing apples to oranges. The 1.08 may not include FSC.

 

It dose not, but even with fsc it wouldn't be 1.80 as stated in 2012

 

The ups rates are anywhere from a buck 70 to just over 2. Depends on the contract for each individual run.

 

Yea, the web site did say STARTING AT 1.08

 

i was called and offered a load for 1.42 with 6ft tarps ill stay home another month if that was the only load just cuz im tired lol

 

Ya no kidding. I've never pulled that cheap even coming out of florida.

 

I'd run 1.42 right now over my 0.92

 

Those are rates ups pays guys leased to them. Has absolutely no bearing on what they pay an outside carrier.
