Dude it is common sense. Roll the tarp out pull it straight. Slap a bungee on each corner to keep tension. Fold the middle up while you put bungees on. Do both sides before the ends. Then at each corner make a hospital corner like you are making a bed with a flat sheet. Apply more bungees. Depending on the product you may want to seal the front and rear lip at the deck by putting a 4x4 on it and strap it down.

Real basic stuff. With experience you get faster and it looks neater.

 

If it flaps it will tear.

Get shipping blankets at harbor freight.
