Yea it did, but there is another one on passenger side engine compartment wall.
-
The one onthe starter is what gets you.
-
There is another solenoid on the fire wall. The one on the starter engages the bendix gear, all new starters come with that one.
-
Mine is on the wall of battery box, looks like one on old ford pickup, but rarely the culprit , with his starter solenoid sparking I would say that's the bad solenoid.
-
Yep it looks just like one off an old ford. And they rarely have problems. And with the symptoms showing us not his issue. But since they only cost ten bucks or so i change them when I have to change a starter. And clean every connecter between battery and starter. Low voltage drastically shortens the life of a starter.
Fib since yours is sparking it's most likely a loose connection. Most likely the the wire going to the big bolt terminsl on the back of the bendix. Try tightening it up with a 3/4 inch wrench. Don't over do it tho cause it's copper so breaks easy. It should buy you time to get home so you don't gotta pay some jerkwad 120 bucks an hour to half ### the job. -
Anyone running 77 that has a laser temp gun? Need to check my fuel temp in my tank.

My fuel filters are getting clogged really fast. I think it's ashphatetine or how ever it's spelled lol.

What does that have to do with tank temperature?
