mercer transportation

It's not the night driving that bothers me. It's the fact that you have to drive like an IDIOT to be on time. Had a Mercer pulling UPS doubles the other night pass me. Let's just say, there is NO load worth killing myself or anyone else for. ANY carrier that requires you to put yourself and others at risk should not be allowed to operate. IMO

 

Would of been nice for them to tell us don't bother unless u got doubles though lol

 

Oh well VA wants my truck more.. Going to newport news VA never been to that military yard so gonna be interesting.

 

It's a nuke yard, you can park up front over night. Atleast you could 5 months ago.

 

ah okay Im gonna be taking beams in.. Its only 16,000 lbs but 6ft tarps.. Lets hope its only 4ft xD

 

It's an easy written test.

 

Mercer doesn't require that. If you are given the assignment by ups that is so tight you have to drive like a moron to make it, then drive safe and be late, mercer will back you on that every time. Almost every load i have ever pulled for ups has been late due to this and Mercer has never given me grief for it. Not once.

 

While this is true if i knew that i would of went home and did the test couple months ago

 

Well so i been losing coolant its been a slow leak from somewhere.. This shop found it during the PM.. When my Water filter was put on they didn't clean the crud out and was causing it to leak there. Also had a leak on the upper coolant line. They fixed both of these.. Now my apu needs a PM i think.. Dam thing is running bad

 

Pete, i don't know how to say this without sounding like a prick so give me a pass this one time. It's ups, you get passed 50 times a day by them, haven't ya ever looked to see that they almost always got 2 trailers on when they blow by ya driving like a maniac?

Sorry dude, this one is on you. You could have taken the initiative to call them and asked months ago. That's the first thing i think should pop in someone's head when they hear the phrase "pulling ups trailers". Good chance is gonna be doubles since that is a high percentage of what they own, so maybe i better find out. It's kinda like seeing the load comment 'high value jet engine keep dry', but not knowing it needs to be tarped cause the agent forgot to check that box on his computer before paying it.
