Are you doing an Ohm check or a voltage check?
Edit. Also when it comes to wires black often is not negative. Do an Ohm check on the wire with a known ground point. You won't get a true 0 count but it should be a low #. Something like 2000 would be the reading of a hot wire. -
Yeah i did a neg check on everything else and im getting anywhere from .08 to 1.8 on Neg check. Then when i check that wire to a good ground its showing a -19.50. So i took a wire and touched it to the Bat's and the light worked fine so the ground is good. Also im using a Ohm check

1 gal of anti-freeze plus 1 gal of distilled water = 2 gallons of 50/50 antifreeze mix. $9.88 unless your including tax.

So i came to the Decision that the Hot wire is the problem. Its not putting out Enough Juice.. Which means i need to run wires all the way to the Dash. Well im not doing that. I did buy a rivet gun today 10.99 not bad

@farmboy73, you can develop a very good, first name, working relationship with the Knoxville agent. I think very highly of him, and I had high standards as far as agents go.

Bleh, I feel like I'm running a reefer again. Lol. I set myself up to run nights this week coming off home time and of course it takes me awhile to get loaded this afternoon cutting into my sleep time. Why do I insist on torturing myself when no one else wants to? I think i really am a masochist.

Get the wifey to hold the wires while you flip the switch. If the hair on her head stands up and she slaps your jaws. You got plenty of Fire in The Wire !!!!Airborne Thanks this.

While we all know 99% of flatbed freight can go on a step, in the winter when things slow down the lazy agents and customers won't make the extra effort to accommodate a step. The lazy agents don't want to take the time to check with the customer, and the lazy customer doesn't want to bother answering extra questions. In the summer time those same agents and customers will make that tiny bit of effort cause they don't have an over supply of trucks.
As for Knoxville its not a bad area at all. It's not chicago good, but certainly not south florida either.Last edited: Dec 29, 2016
