LOL that's what I did soon as I made that post......$3,518.22 out the door rolling on aluminum 22.5s and new FS560s 295/75/22.5 and I just went and dropped it off at the yard and got my stepdeck first time I have used it in about 6 weeks.
Doing a load for Landstar in the morning Beaumont-Geismar,LA 210 miles crane parts $850 easy money!!! -
I just put all my gear up for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested
-
Wideload , looking back do you think you made the switch to soon? At least with the SNI you didnt have to come out of pocket for trl rental. I know the rates are not near as fb rates. But, the out come could have been in your favor. Just asking
-
Moving this load with 3 mercer trucks one guy is in a newer truck and trailer 14147 can't wait to ask these guys what there making off this load
volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
if you are 850 all in they are probaly around 600 to 650 at 75 per cent, but they probably did it for 200 dollars ,lol
i saw those loads while looking for a load out of houston. -
well think about that for a minute ricky bobby, the rate at 65 per cent are not as good as fb rates, and its not trl rental actually , its a payment, 10 per cent will make that up. one thing to consider a step payment is considerably more than a flat, and in wideloads area a flat would have been a more useful trailer .

$630 is what they just told me and said that's a good paying load for them!!
-
Been talking to the one guy he left Landstar for mercer and said he does way better than he ever did over at LS but he said he wants someone to find his loads he just wants to drive, he has no drive for dispatching his loads
-
You should get a better rate. You are running under you own authority/insurance, etc. Comparing your pay to a permanently leased contractor is the same as a lease op that compares their pay rate to a company driver. It's not apples to apples.Klleetrucking, Allan M, rickybobby and 1 other person Thank this.
