Well I guess I owe Pete a thanks. I called truck pay to load up my fuel card. While I had the girl on the phone I asked safety bounuses (I looked at my books last night and showed I had 73k loaded miles where I thought I might have fallen short). Of course she said "We did that over the weekend and if you didn't get an email you must not have......one sec. Oh, it looks like we skipped you. You have $750 that I will apply to your plates right now."

Now I'm not upset as I believe in human error. But if anyone didn't get their bonus applied to their plates over the weekend and they are pretty sure they deserve one (70k loaded miles) they may want to check on it.

No, I get that, just looks tight for a wrench. I'm gonna deal with it in about an hour.

 

Lol not bad. I'm half tempted to take any load so my phone will shut up lol....

 

The first issue they are supposed to fix. The second, they do....they just don't tell you that they are on the matched list.

 

The feared truck inspection completed.... 1 of my back up lights was out. 5 of 6 brakes need adjustment. And I just payed a shop for shoes and drums all around, would have thought they would have adjusted them...maybe slack adjusters are bad. Slack adjusters are out of expertise.

They couldn't find or better yet, didn't hear my air leak....although I asked them to listen for it. Nice guys over there, actually nice guys and gals all around.

That would be nice. It would be nice to see how much a load pays too without it being cut off. It would be nice if it was usable too. But that's asking to much.
