I haven't been across the border for a year now, but Mercer has all the information on what brokers to use to send the paperwork too. It is simple enough you just need to do it as soon as possible to avoid delays. I've been told you can be fined if you arrive without paperwork in hand and approved.

How does your GPS "get lost"? Even on my Verizon phone I can have the data off and use the GPS with a built in navigation program. A GPS has no need for cellular data, the data is the GPS signals it receives plus the onboard database.

The "new" Verizon plans are supposed to include Canada and Mexico calling to and from each country and data usage also. That would make life much easier and let us avoid any phone bills that look more like mortgage payments. Next time I'm home I am going to check on that.

 

Roshea, I currently have Verizon Canada/Mexico plan. Our Rand McNally GPS always seems to get lost in Canada and tries to re-route us weirdly. That is when the phone's GPS helps us--but it is his Canadian cell phone as my Verizon has the cellular data shut off in Canada and the Map on my phone doesn't work without data. I appreciate all the info.

CJ--it was an email from the recruiter, so I think it was just a typo.

 

So I have a bit of an opportunity, anyone know where I can get my hands on a GOOD used double drop. A 25-30T is all I need as it's not intended for actual HH. Oh and I don't really need a RGN but it would work. A nudge in the right direction would be nice, so far most of the good ones are new or made for real HH. Thanks in advance

Buy. Hoping not to have to get a new one. Not sure I would get enough ROI.
