So why did you spend the extra?

 

I am wondering the same thing because if you have to pay your cell provider $30 extra per month to add the tablet...then maybe Qualcomm is just as good an option as I think (?) it costs $30 per month. But of course it costs $750 to buy (lease?) it. Decisions decisions.

 

I had the tablet just sitting around not being used. I put the Mercer app on it too. So Mercer can follow my truck now but not always me. Not that I was ever worried about that.

 

Back when I got it it was $10 a month. I can use it as a phone if I needed to. But there is no advantage to it. I just needed to put it to use.

Anyone switch over to Verizon unlimited plan? You think it's fine?

 

The tablet. I just connect to my phone every couple of days and upload logs. Or, just leave tablet connected to phone.

 

I did. No issues so far. I'm at 28 gig this month so far.

 

It will need location services. Best to leave it connected while in the truck.
