Yeah, not sure if it's getting there on time. It's right at a full day drive, 640+/- miles. I was going to deliver Monday to beat the snow, but obviously that's not happening. I made arrangements with the customer about 3 hours before I broke down. I had to call him at home on Saturday to give him a heads up, change of plans.

Get out! Lol. I'll be there tomorrow.

Dude this sucks. I hope it is a good shop. I know many put warranty work on the back burner and try to get out of it. I hope you don't have to experience that.

    Airborne Thanks this.

It's a REALLY small dealership, I've brought it to this one before for something stupid and they got me in and out under warranty. They did say though, that something like this will likely take awhile because KW will push for it to drag out. They'll want everything documented and have a bazillion questions. That's OK, bills are all paid, just gives me an unplanned vacation.

    CJndaTruck Thanks this.

When something major happens to a truck under warranty and let's say they tell you it's going to be 3 weeks to fix, do they offer anytype of Rental reimbursement for you?

Haha. Don't we wish. Nope, this is why we all say you need cash in the bank. When you break down you have to foot all the bills. I once spent a month in a hotel in PA waiting on truck repairs. You have to have that money somewhere so you can foot that bill.

Yeah, they don't even warranty the tow Bill, which I think is crap. I get the hotel/travel not being reimbursed or arranged, but if it's warranty work, ...what are you going to do, rebuild the engine on the side of the road???

    HalpinUout and CJndaTruck Thank this.

My C-15 Cat had a blown head gasket , cracked head , two bad liners/pistons. 447k miles (500k warranty ).
Went in Thursday morning, Finished Friday at 5 pm.
Lincoln NE Caterpillar next to the Crete terminal. I paid $500 . Cat paid $8000.
Cat had this problem on many of those engines, so they didn't have a reason to question the issue.
When my transmission failed I sat in Kansas City 2 weeks waiting for the correct parts. The wrong parts arrived twice . No charge to me on that one.
