Its not even the baby its our almost 5 year old lol. He broke our TV so had to replace that. Then messed with the thing on our deep freezer and all that food went bad. Now we need a new transmission in our car xD

I'm sorry! I have 3 sons and my middle son acted up a lot when the youngest was born. Maybe try playing up his importance and gushing over him (I love you buddy!! I am soooo happy to see YOU! Let's do something special just you and me cuz you're the BIG boy!"). Deep cleansing breath...everything will go back to normal soon. (And transmission probs suck...sorry about that!!)

How long were you hoping to stay home? Would your wife wring your neck if you were to do a short run and came back in a day or so to help you pay for the transmission and lost food? They say when it rains it pours, but hopefully things will look brighter tomorrow. Hugs to the four of you!

Eh maybe a week or so. Not really anything around here for me to leave and come back same day or even every other day. The rates wouldn't be worth it anyway. Dropping the truck at the shop monday for them to put my tool box on and make something for my Axle.

Well, off the phone with KW, said they have to pull the motor, do some tests, and get with Cummins on what they want to do, either a short block or a long block, but it definitely needs a rebuild. Told me plan on 2 weeks from today, might be sooner.

Hang in there Pete. @Chickadee had some good general advice for dealing with the oldest. Even if he isn't acting out yet.

@Razorwyr in and out in 2 weeks isn't too bad. I hope the (as GOOD as it gets) news keeps coming.

Actually, I thought about this on my drive home yesterday, if the engine was going to blow, this was the best time for it to do so, between the load that has no rush on it, the blizzard that hit up there, etc.

    CJndaTruck Thanks this.
