    Well so my Car transmission is bad.. Can't get over 45 MPH cuz it won't shift into 4th(AUTO). Needs rebuild.. Car has 160k on it not worth me paying almost 2k for a transmission.. Guess we are gonna try and get a New car...

    Why not go find a cheaper transmission? Or find some ol good ol boy to rebuild it on the side.

    i think there is more wrong with the car then what we know. The car gets #### mpg. Its hard finding a good transmission shop around here. We paid like 400 maybe 500 to get all our transmissions lines replaced as they had a leak.

    Pete I hate to say that this is a horribble time for you to be having bad luck, but it is. My advice is dump the car, get something cheap and reliable. How's not the time to buy a new SUV. But you need to make sure everyone can get where they need to especially when you get back on the road. You may want to sit down and redo your budget tho. If there is anyway I can help let me know.

    A nice gently used Honda Accord. That's my recommendation.

    On the up side my generator isn't as loud as I thought it would be lol. Oh and got my 2 years dot card again
