Pete your issue isn't making money, it's spending it.

 

Right? I've been VERY casually looking at the board for Friday, since the plan was basically, he drops the load on Thursday, then DH home. You know, unless SOMETHING shows up that we just can't say no. Yeah, a load pops up w/ not much DH, going past home, but doesn't deliver till Monday afternoon....which gives us plenty of time for family time, 34 hour reset, etc. It pays good on miles, but not great on days...but since he's actually coming home, and it's better to get paid to go thru the house than pay to come home....we accepted. Whether we get it, is a different monster.

I probably only get 20% of the loads i go for. Heck cj snatched one up on me Monday. Ya just gotta keep at it.

I would say I was sorry, BUT.......

Glad to hear you are off to a good start. It only gets better from here.




On a side note:

I had bought a "true sinewave" inverter at MATS for about $175 cheaper then I could find one on the net. Anyway, I have been in the habit of sticking most things in the microwave for 2 minutes. Needless to say, I just burnt lunch :-/

 

I warned everyone that the loads are mine. You all can have the leftovers. ;p

 

I only get a 10 hour break tonight... that kinda sucks but got a nice load to Dallas lol...
