Why do drivers feel the need to piss on the fuel islands......

 

Pete, some of these people out here driving trucks these days are animals not drivers. They belong in the zoo, or out in the jungle. It is unreal the things I see some of them doing.

 

I was doing some reading yesterday and it seems a lot of people recommend an oil change at 5k after the rebuild. I got to thinking about it, and I might switch to full synthetic when I do. The main fuel filter I'm sure I'm swapping it out far too often, but the paper filter, the fuel-water separator get dirty quick. Short of adding pressure guages to my dash, how would I know when to switch those?

 

I just follow Detroit recommended guidelines. Well I stopped waiting to 50k for oil changes like they say and went to 25-35k as I just barely drive enough miles for the 50k oil changes.

 

To anyone who might know, how much do the Mercer Great Dane flatbeds weigh?

 

i got one but not sure i know i can haul 50,000 with it lol

 

Wow! With our last combo 48-ft flat the most we could haul was 46,500 with tanks full.

 

I can only haul 47200 with mine, 47600 if we want to push the idle reduction weight credit

 

Or keep tanks only half filled
