Yay, gotta love when you do a power only load... all the tires are low when you pick it up, So you air them up, then only get an hour up the road and have a blowout.

Everytime I have done power only loads, it makes my booty pucker up till I get there and see what I have to work with. I won't do them unless the rate is really good.
-
Question please. When they pay us our final statement, will they do our deductions from my hire date (Apr. 11 or 5 days) or the date I picked up the load (Apr. 13 or 3 days).
-
Im currently on a power only load. But i know the customer very well. Heck I'm the one that specced this trailer for them.

Thanks. That makes sense otherwise it might take you 45 days to pay 30 days' worth of deductions.

Exactly. And if you ever take a couple weeks off with a new month in the middle you can be getting hit with both months when you get back to work. Not that i would know anything about sitting on my rump for several weeks at a time...Highway Sailor, Chickadee and whoopNride Thank this.

Does doing a Power only load generally mean you take the trailer 1 way and bobtail back or normally take it to deliver and return empty with it? OR a combination of the two depending on the customer?
