    Thanks! I just wrote out a preplan--where we'll stop each night, fill up diesel, etc. if we stay on schedule we should be fine. We really need to make money! :). Not like the rest of you who do it for the fun of it LOL

    Ha, I wish I did it for fun. No I'm out here to make some cash too, I'm just super lazy and sometimes just don't feel like working. Now Spyder? Well.....

    If all goes well we will have grossed just shy of 8200 in 11 days. I think that's pretty darn good, especially compared to where we used to work, although we did have quite a bit of deadhead with the first two loads out of the four. Hopefully each day I'll get the hang of it better. It will be interesting to see how we do in the month of May--a full month--as I am counting April as "training."

    That's not bad at all...i think the general goal seems to be around 4k/w for most people

    Not a bad start at all. And thinking of April as a training month is a good way to start. I think my first two years here were training years. Lol. I spent a long time learning different areas and lanes. I tried long and short, regional, local and national. I took every thing I had read in these pages and tried them, tweaked them and found the best way to use that info to my advantage. Finally I just found my own little niche so I wasn't forced to compete with the likes of Skate.

    I only say all this because I feel everyone needs to keep tweaking their business and in doing so we should always be learning. And if you are always learning (not all lessons will be good) then your business has the opportunity to continue to grow. It's once one thinks they know what they need to know that they become stagnant and their business has no chance at growth. For many this is fine as they still manage to adjust as markets change. For others this is the end because as markets change they are unable or unwilling to change with it.

    Anyway let me get off the soapbox. All I was trying to say was don't be afraid to keep trying things.

    Still can't find what position I'm in on matched loads! Sent a email and was told it is there! I'm old but not that old!

    Like doggy brown stuff that looks like a Hershey kiss. I have to log out and back in just to refresh the page. When I log in it sends me to the mobile page which I can't use so I have to switch it to the desktop site. If I do a search for the area I'm in I have to log out, in, switch to desktop just to search another area to see if I want a load. If I decide I want the load I have to log out, in........ its friggen useless. If I didn't call agents I would have no loads. Mercer IT dept. can F itself.

    I probably should have just said "Don't get me started"
