Where does everyone store the coil racks at? I'm running out of room for my tarps lol

Right Now? Secured to the deck, but I'm running dedicated coils. Normally, in my side box. I have a neat storage setup for everything in my sideboxes except my tarps. Now, it rarely stays neat because I get in a hurry and just toss stuff, but everything does have it's own place, it's just a matter of whether or not I utilize that.

Pulling a 3/8 chain thru a reel is much harder than a 5/16. like Spyder said if you have both, the 5/16 will be your go to chain over 90% of the time

    HalpinUout and spyder7723 Thank this.

Next time you got it organised snap us a picture. The more ideas for setting up the boxes the better.

i made up a couple pieces of flat stock out of 2 coil racks. Drilled and bolted them to crossmembers. My racks slide right in.
Coil racks are too thin and don't support the weight on their own so had to bolt the front also. I'm gonna redo it with either 1/8th or 3/16ths bar stock so i can just use a clip oin to keep them from sliding out.

Yeah it's nice, home every night and off on the weekends making what I make on the road. Pays to tarp, but they only want it tarped if its storming, a little is no big deal. No idea how long it's gonna last though, was originally 2 weeks, but now it's until they have no could left.

I love it except it doesn't show the fuel discount at TA/Petro. But I like that I can put in my route & it shows me all the prices on my route & even highlights the cheapest price.

While I haven't made the switch to the dark side (flatbed) yet, from what I understand the basic "kit" from Mercer with a headache rack is about $2800 which you need at least 50% up front. I'm not sure what comes in Mercer's kit compared to the one you posted though.
