It goes to billing dept first, it could be a difference in how it's billed. I usually get a text notification that paperwork was received,. If something seems off i just call to make sure the paperwork was readable or if they need anything on my end.

 

You guys use the TWIC card much? I just set my appointment up to get it done near my house. Seems to me its not much different than when I got Hazmat endorsement....

How long did it take you to receive it in the mail?

 

I've used it 5-6 times in 2 years or so. Mainly at oil refineries but a few ports or places near ports. When I got mine it took months but it was due to a program change. Now I hear it's just a couple weeks.

 

I applied for mine when we went to orientation. The very next day I received an email stating it had been mailed out to me. I received it in less than a week.

 

Lol. I haven't received an email & I haven't been home to see if it came in. Lol. Maybe I didn't get one, hmm....

 

LOL I was so surprised that I got it so quickly. I couldn't even remember my previous address. Just the street LOL.

 

Lol this shipper was trying to get me to cover a load going to long island for him. It has 4 stops xD my rate for that area is $5.00 pm lol

 

5 cents per mile? I think you mean 5 dollars

Well....my dedicated run has come to an end. I was hoping it would be semi permanent. They made it sound like several more weeks on Friday, but at lunch yesterday they still hadn't added this week's loads so i called. They said they were playing the waiting game with the customer on the loads for the week, weren't sure they were getting more. I told them have fun playing the waiting game, I'm not. So I booked up the week.
