As long as you have some sort of copy, you'll be fine. But what happens if you need to show your logs and the phone doesn't work for what ever reason?

I want to be able to print mine out....just in case. I guess they could be sent to a separate e-mail address.

I use paper logs, I will hold out to do anything log related electronically until the very end.

my printer is no bigger than my laptop, taller but no bigger, and you have to print out each days logs with eclipse, don't understand it, but its the rules. just showing them on the laptop wont cut it. however the 3 times I have had logs checked the officer didn't want to see my printed ones.

If you have an android phone use your usb charging cable for your phone. Also you will have to check the USB debugging on the phone. I have found xerox to reply to questions in email form to be pretty quick. And keep the corners of the papers intact.

I've reading up on Mercer a good part of the morning, and I have come up with some questions. Could I keep my authority and still lease on, also I've read California is not a really a good place to load out east. I live in the bay area close to Sacramento. I could get my own flatbed and the equipment I need. Just getting worn thin and running out of patience with load boards. Thanks any helpful advice be appreciated.

Living in CA I would not lease to Mercer, they just don't have the freight out there to keep busy with.
