So should I run or walk to the dealer for a flatbed?

No way! I don't want any part of where you're going.

I just called them and he said his machine to do the alignments was stolen a month or so ago! So he can't do the alignment. Alignrite is closed, but I saved it to my favs for next week. Thanks guys!

The orientation isn't due to hiccups, some folks never settle in anywhere. They keep blaming others, and the problem follows them place to place.

The turnover AVG is about 800 trucks a year, 800 come and 800 go. The fleet size has been fairly consistent for the last 10 years . You can figure when someone came aboard within 2 to three months. When you see a truck number , subtract 800 a year and you got it.

When I went and asked this I was surprised at how consistent the numbers were over 10 years.

But yes you only hear of the home run loads , you don't hear about the singles , walks or strikeouts. It gives a lopsided picture.

Like the 3.00 a mile oversize to jersey, considering that's truck money and all escorts , permits etc. Would be covered that might not be bad depending on the load.

    I spent quite a few years pulling 16 x 80 every day.

The reason I mention the orientation is just to paint a picture for folks looking that basically no company is perfect and every driver has different needs and wants. No one size fits all. Mercer is no exception.

And exactly seems lots are quick to mention the Homeruns they hit here but boy they forget to mention the strikeouts etc etc...
