I know but I can't blame anyone really but myself... .. I shouldn't have waited till the last day of the month to send them in, I never knew until now that the little notification tab next to the wrench let's you know they are due... I just thought that little tab showed settlements which I never looked at because they come in my email... Live and Learn...

I sprayed Armor all... The small red tensioner in the bottom left of the picture shuts up squeling and then starts right again... I'm thinking that's my problem? It's tight and smooth though, appears to be fine? What is that tensioner called? The black one on top right was just replaced. 20170903_100840.jpg

if it's spring loaded its called a tensioner. pulleys not attached to anything mechanical are called idlers, or idle pulleys.

If it shuts up temporarily when you spray it then you need to replace it. Do it on your schedule & not when it decides to lock up.

I worked for a company many years ago that had the best maintenance program I'd ever seen. They had a mileage service interval for tensioners, idlers, starters, alternators, & such. I ran team with my wife there & they had to pry our truck away from me. It had just shy of a million miles on it & they were giving us a new truck. I didn't want it but I had no choice. Lol. Had I been looking to buy a truck I would've bought my truck from them with complete confidence in it.

One more thing to try is, mix up some soapy water and apply it to the belt. Or with a spray bottle. An old Penske mechanic taught me that years ago. Sometimes if it's just a slight belt squeal that will stop it.

Ya, so even if it's smooth and tight doesn't necessarily mean it's good, could be the inside bearing that I cannot see that is bad correct?
