Each month I allow Mercer to debit my credit card for my monthly deductions for insurance, trailer payment etc. and this month the amount went up by $23.61 because they have decided to start charging a 3% service charge for this. :(

I'd imagine that they pay a 3% processing fee. Why do you do that instead of the settlement deductions?

It’s a lot simpler and I know exactly what my pay will be on each load. I get one statement each month that shows only deductions.

Buy your own trailer and pay for the insurance, tags, etc up front. No deductions, and no CC fees.
    Solves all the problems.

My wife says its just starting to snow at home (spokane wa). Wet and not sticking but if spokane is getting first snow, lookout pass is probably getting hammered.

My drive axle seal went bad and got oil all over... This shop is telling me I'm supposed to get new brakes generally when that happens because you can't get the oil off of them? Is this accurate? I know I gotta make sure they fill the oil for the rear end and what else needs to be done when this happens?
