Industry standard is zip code to zip code running practical truck routing. However some of the larger customers still use hhg mileage and supply that when they submit the load info and some agents simply put it in the system without checking the miles. It won't take long to figure out who those customers are and make a more informed decision on the load.

Customer tells the agent your rates but my miles, if you want my freight take it or leave it. That game will take a good CPM load down to where it should have been refused.

When i first started here had a couple brokered loads that were way off. Both outta the maryland area. One was 19% and the other was 24%.

I had a load yesterday that was brokered and Mercer must have given them my phone number. The broker texted me wanting me to sign up or download something to track my phone to keep tabs on the load. LOL. That was simple. NO. You want to find out where the load is call Mercer. Leave me the #### alone.

You must not have a good coordinator. I might go weeks without hearing from mine but when I do it's usually for a good load.

Sure. I work with the board & agents & find 99% of my loads. I don't talk to my coordinator much at all. He called me on Monday, first time I've talked to him in 2 weeks, to tell me a load I had booked cancelled. Then he called back about 5 minutes later with a load for me. Haven't talked to him since. I'll call him Wednesday & wish him a Merry Christmas & let him know I'll be off till the 10th.

Well i think my crankshaft damper is bad which is why the idle is so dang bad while cold. Its so bad it feels like 50 MPH winds when its 30 and colder. Gonna throw one on and see if it helps before i break a crank...

  10. Hey guys I'm laid up at home and really appreciate this thread but could you talk less...lol...i just hit page 1000 but I think you're all typing faster than I can read. If you're wondering what's happening skateboardman just got his engine overhauled and spyder having a baby (congrats). This should all really be adapted to a trucker movie it would be bad ### and have plenty of comic relief in places but I won't name names. Well I'm back to reading and hope to find my favorite characters healthy and happy in the present when I catch up to you guys.
