Shocks ordered. 1410 bucks after shipping. That's the road kings on the steer and the silver for the drives. Now just got to wait 6 weeks for them to make them and ship them to me. And hope i don't gotta replace leaf springs in the next 5 years. They make the shocks to your ride height which is effected by your springs, and considering mine are 17 years old there is a good chance(ok guaranteed chance) some fatigue has set in, changing the ride height.

Its winter. The rates ALWAYS fall in the winter down south. To many guys want to stay down in the sunshine and avoid that white stuff. It is also the week between xmas and new years, which is a very low volume week.

I'm in Oklahoma & I turned down one load paying $5 a mile & 3 others paying $3.40 a mile. The $5 a mile load only went 400 miles & the others went from 700-1500 miles. But these loads didn't stay in the South though. I didn't look too see if there were any loads staying in the South.. I just know what the agent offered when she called trying to get me to leave the house.

Well I wasn't specifically looking to stay in the south. I can usually find TX freight but this week its all been snatched up. Was looking at a good one to Utah but wound up taking one paying $3+ going to PA next week.
