Lol, don't you go on duty for a couple minutes everyday when you stop for post trip inspection and then switch it to sleeper?

 

Yes but I forgot to switch last night. Ended with 2 hours on duty so when I woke up I 0ut myself on duty but forgot about the 2 hours on duty lol

Called a body shop to get an answer to my ice question. They said no way it would cause it but if there was already a chip or hair line damage then the ice could could freeze inside and split the part more.

 

How do you plan on fixing it or do you think it is going to need replaced?

 

I dont have any tools for doing fiberglass work so gonna have to get a body shop to look at it when im home. Probably get a price on the panel from freightliner and see if thats reasonable or not too. Where its at isnt a big deal really but have to see how much worse it gets on the trip home. If my brother lived in a decent place to get to id spend a day there fixing it and visit for a day while the paint dries but i never get past his house.

 

On the Qualcom unit if I'm not mistaken you can edit your on duty, sleeper birth, and off duty time up until you approve your logs. I have never tried it over a 12 hour period.

Yeah keller you can't which sucks if u forget :/ They told me to run paper logs as they don't have anyone to fix them till monday. But that brings in another issue.. Thats still illegal as we need our prevs logs and u cant get them without calling logs lol

 

Then you get to spend the weekend at the scale, LOL

 

Thats the good part about running at night and 14 straps on a load thats only 30,000lbs Officers dont really mess with ya lol
