I did a team load years ago with one of my buddy's I trusted we ran up to the Canada border in buffalo,Ny to get a load and bring it back that was 57hours 3,100 of hell I don't wish it on anyone ever change of pavement I'd wake up everytime truck slowed down only reason I sleep was because I just couldn't hold my head up anymore. I have no clue how people do it!

 

Someone mentioned on the Mercer FB page that they get a 50% discount at the T/A "restaurant" for being a Mercer Contractor. I've never heard of that before.

 

Lodi, oh. The agent there CCC I believe picks up the tab.

 

Yea, I found out the agent picks up half the tab. I would still rather eat McD's then the T/A

 

I got that 50 percent off at Lodi, OH. I was walking out, and I met a Mercer guy, he told me about the discount, and yes, Half off. Good deal.

youre a nut, lol that t/a actually a dang good buffet and at lodi and wildwood t/a if you are there for a number of days you can get a card where the first meal I at full price ,, the second one is 10 per cent off , the third is 20 % off, the fourth 30%, and so on til its down to 50 per cent off for the rest of the time you are there. you get the card at the register and have it stamped each time ya eat

 

its the CCC agent that picks up the tab for the half off meals

 

I never knew any of that, but by the time I ate my third meal, I would be living on a toilet in the men's restroom.

I'M OUT OF TOILET PAPER AGAIN !!!

 

If you run out of toilet paper use that discount card.

 

after 33 years of this, I can eat barbwire and drink battery acid and it doesn't affect me one bit
