Ahh ok. It was late and i was up with major back pain. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Habe you thought about finding a constant hot at the firewall and just tying it in and placing an inline fuse? Would be a lot faster and easier.

Then it is most likely the button isn't getting a good ground. A badly corroded/ broken/loose hot wire doesn't just randomly start working. Take the button off and clean up the contact points with emory cloth. Make sure the prong coming from the button isn't bent.

I guess I didn't see that one. I probably don't need more than 3k watts but I would like to have 4k watts or so.

Keep in mind you want at least 25% more than what your typical peak usage is. You don't want the engine running at full load all the time.

Think of it like an engine for the truck. Sure a 300 hp 11.1 detroit will pull a heavy 48k lb load, but a 500 hp 12.7 will do it more efficiently and last longer cause its not running at full load all day every day.

I went to looking again at Onan, and they make a 5k, with the quiet technology, for a little over $8k..... pick me up one too ;)

As long as that new turbo has clean oil and air, it doesn't care how hard it's working.
