They need to fix the website then. It's not built to handle those kind of stuff. I was on it and it was taking forever to pull up the other for the advance and the paperwork. When I went to back out it opened up. They really need new IT people or they need to open their wallet more. There ONLY thing Schneider had better than Mercer was both the app and their load board.

 

This is the biggest problem with mercer. Facebook is how teenage girls communicate with their friends. Not how a business communicates with their contractors.

 

Yep. Look how great our it department handled the new load board. And now they want to put this in their hands. Awesome.

 

Agreed. I got rid of mine off my phone at least back when the leak thing went down. And I've used it all of once since so I'll be pulling the plug on it entirely here before much longer.

 

I just went back and found the new buttons.

Looks like I'll be getting a tablet as the website is difficult to use with my phone and fat fingers lol

 

I wonder if you'd be required to buy a tablet and monthly mobile service for it if you were leased to landstar, bennett, admiral merchant, packard, daily, or any of the other good open deck carriers?

I'm not saying we need to all quit over this, I'm just saying we have to look at the bottom line. Revenue after costs. Every time an additional cost (or loss revenue event like last years screw up with the load board) comes up we need to reevaluate things. I'm here for the money, not for the free lunch the couple times a year i get by Louisville.

Couldn't agree more here. a Landstar driver was showing me his load board while the rates for the area where mostly the same they had more Military Freight but i loved there load board it makes thing so much Easier. The Call option when a load matches to u(Voice recording call) Is also great...
