@spyder7723 i remember seeing a thread where you mentioned rigging up a rod or something to hang coil racks. Do you have a pic of that?
I don't have a pic but it's real simple. Take 2 pieces of flat bar stock 1/8 thick inches wide. Put it in a vise so you can put a slight bend in it about 3 inches from the end. Clamp it to a crossmember under the trailer and drill 2 5/16ths hole. One about 2 inches from the end that was in the vise. Bolt that to the crossmember. The slight bend allies you to just slide your coil racks between that bar stock and the crossmember. The other end, near the outside of the trailer you use a lock pin. It's just to keep the racks from vibrating out while going down the road. Now someone is going to come along and say you can't drill a crossmember it will weaken it. dont listen to the ########. They drill holes in them to screw down the deck. They drill holes in them to mount dunagee racks. They drill holes or weld to them to mount chain pull ups. And the sliding winch rail is mounted on by.... drilling holes in the crossmembers. I'll try to remember to get pic tomorrow.
I felt lazy yesterday got to my pick up yesterday. They had 5 guys throw my straps and tighten it all down for me. I just stood there and watched ....
