Short answer is yes. Long answer its it depends on the over hang placement. A single piece of 10" pipe right in the center of the trailer and you will be ok. Plate steel that over hangs all the way across the trailer is gonna hit and tear stuff up.

 

Im done im just selling my truck and gonna go do something else.. Yet again my truck was hit today and did a #### ton of Damage. This really is my sign to get out of truck gonna go find some other type of work.

 

Dude equipment will always get damaged. It's just part of the game. That's why god invented lawyers, get a good one that is brutal and he will get the truck fixed plus get you money for every day you couldn't work. You can't play games and be nice to these morons when they tear your equipment up, go for the jugular.

 

#### pete.... I think you're just a magnet for bad juju. If it's not someone else tearing your truck up for you, it' doing it on its own.

 

That sucks Pete. I would do what Spyder said and get a lawyer to go after them. You need to be paid for truck repair and income lost.

 

I'm buying a polisher tomorrow, gonna make her shine, with 5 years driving mercer may accept me, I'm not sure but I'll try after the truck is 100%. Still needs a a/c compressor, fridge, microwave, inverter and a good shine. Other then that it's golden. I talked to my current boss he said he would lease me on pulling production water from Wellsites but he only charges $85 an hour and I'd get 60% him paying for fuel and everything but maitence. My truck isn't costing me anything so I'm not to worried about it. I'd be home every night 6-6 shift .plus my wife would be making $23 hr running a water bottle. But we still want to come to mercer .

Google zephyr products. They have a 42 piece professional polish starter kit that has every thing you will need and then some. Then ya just need a decent 5/8ths bore sander.

 

Pete, I know it's not been a smooth road for you bud, but take heart. IIRC you just paid that truck off not too long ago. Spyder makes a good point. Things will happen that will be beyond your control or view. And that goes for anything in life. As long as you've got the info from the person that did the damage then you're fine. Lawyer up and go after them, if need be. They'll settle if you have dash cam footage or witnesses.

Don't let someone else's #### up be the reason to quit at something you've worked this hard to get to.
