does anyone know what the ferry to Newfoundland cost? Or is that covered by mercer? I'm curious cause I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do something really stupid and commit to one of those loads first thing Monday am.

I don't think that Mercer pays for that as that would be like a toll. Probably figured in the rate.
The rate must be pretty good.
Might want to ask your coodinator, hows the freight coming out or how much deadhead to expect out of there?

sspyder, mercer pays the ferry ride. I think you apy then are reimbursed, but from the large discussion this week, it isn't like a toll.

one joker was at the yard over the weekend with a 9'6"" going to st johns newfoundland. don't think it worked to good, he got caught by the labor day weekend in Louisville. thye said it was a 1000 deadhead back to the US
