It's not dependent on it, it just helps if your camera isnt taking good images, the file size is to large for your signal.
You can lighten darken, sharpen the images.

It is necessary, it was just suggested as a help if you had trouble with images

 

Maybe that's it, they are trying to get away from third party suppliers,

 

I was able to do arrived today at shipper but i guess you cant do loaded? When i clicked the depart button it showed leaving the receiver.

 

But why? Let experts do what you do mediocre. Most customers don't know how to run a trucking department so they use trucking companies to move their freight. Same thing here.

 

You got folks here who say use third party , some who say do it in house.

A third party going out was the reason for this.

It simply looks to be bringing it all to one place.

I have no idea of what notice they had ,or when the app is done.

Right now we have two options .

I certainly dont think they did this just for heck of it.

Some say they are this, or that or incompetent, etc. I have done pretty well for over 7 years here, I can work thru this as I have any other thing .

The term rose colored glasses mean anything? Everyone of us can and will work through this but that doesn't mean its a great new change.

I try to be respectful to everyone, but certain people have a history here of being extremely antagonistic. So much so that your fellow mods have banned them but they just make up a new screen name and right back at it.

 

What makes it frustrating to me is Mercer keeps bragging about record months, which is cool. Spend some of that money on technology instead of the homeless shelter in Louisville. You know, if Mercer only kept 10% and I paid every expense for the truck it wouldn't be a big deal. Heck, mailing paperwork in would be ok with me, I may just start doing that. But with the amount of money Mercer keeps they could definitely keep up with technology. But hey, they don't tell me how to spend my money so who am I to tell them how to spend theirs. Some of us will just deal with it until a better situation comes up.

Just because you've done well at Mercer and are ok with things doesn't matter to anyone but yourself. It's cool you give your opinion and viewpoint but always defending Mercer like they are a God is a little over the top. They are better than a lot of companies but not much different than most. Mercer is ran by humans so nothing is perfect and mistakes will happen but even Landstar's load board/site is head and shoulders better than Mercer's. Heck, even Schneider's load board is much better than Mercer's.

My only point is they are way behind when it comes to technology. Either get in and do it right, or go back to old school mail.

 

Their technology level is really my only disappointment here. Heck i remember the first time i looked at their public website to find a recruiting number. I honestly thought i got to some old archived page from the 90s or something.
