mercer transportation

Mine was, in general, working fine, except I had 2 loads that were not only showing up as less than 150 miles from me (despite being closer to 1800) but they were also matching to me. I assume that's because the computer is still matching me for my vacation. I've been off for 3 weeks

 

I think your theory on 10 times the value is dead on.

 

Really? How is that? When the greatest gripe against me is being positive in favor of mercer.

That's basically it.

Any negativity on my part , is simply not agreeing with posts that tend to downgrade things.

Seriously , there used to many drivers attracted to mercer with this thread.

It's taken a turn where I dont think that would be the case .

Telling folks to read these pages to learn about mercer hadn't been done in a long while.

But where have I posted negative about mercer?

I probably left before that. But it's the same thing lol. There is negative stuff all over. The difference between here and the Facebook group. They don't delete it here. People are free to speak their minds.
As I said Mercer is a decent company but like every company they will have down sides. I don't think there is a thing such as a perfect company. I make money so I'm happy but I do things some stuff should be changed.

 

Mine was all jacked up showing loads close to me that were 600+ miles away. When I do a search now for loads for Monday after I deliver it seems to work fine. But then when I go do a search for another area it's back to showing loads that are 300+ miles away as being close to me. I deliver in Columbus on Monday and right now I'm only matched to 4 loads. First one picks up on the 23rd. Lol. I'm not really concerned with being matched to any loads.

 

See if the miles are off by a factor of 10, roshea spotted that, ran several of them on maps, it seems take the mileage , multiply by ten and it's close,

It's like a zero is left off

 

I think that's why you catch flack from so many people here. You always defend Mercer. It's as if Mercer can do no wrong in your eyes. To think that is foolish. We all know Mercer is ran by humans and humans are going to screw up.

We just prefer to discuss the good and the bad and it's as if you don't care to have the bad stuff put out to the public. Maybe that's why this thread doesn't attract that many to Mercer anymore, cause the whole truth is spoken and not just the good.

Mercer is still better than most companies in trucking and Mercer could make some changes to benefit the drivers. People still make money here and people still fail here. That part hasn't changed.

 

I know one load is showing to be 19 miles away but on maps it's 278 miles away. Lol. Not sure what's up with it. I can work around it but it got me excited the first time I saw a load and said heck yeah. Then I thought wait a minute, it's not that close. Lol

 

Pete they actually dont delete much at all.

But I ask you what's can make a difference?

Could it be offering solutions to problems?

Every body or everyplace has problems, no doubt. But when there are problems, you find ways to work around or make it work.
