AllanM, I was across the street at the new Pilot, When I delivered at the DRMO on Monday morning there were 3 other mercer trucks, were you one of them?

 

No, I delivered at the same place on Friday and reloaded in Nogales Monday heading up to Appleton, WI now.

 

I Have done that Appleton load three times, I was hoping to get it last week, instead got a northern tool to Ft Mill, Then deadsheaded to Greenville, NC for folk lifts and me and many others have been sitting here since Friday. Hope you had a good trip.

I can't find much out on their website.. Could I avg 2.00 or more a mile for all hub miles at mercer?

 

Are you one of the guys that agreed to be paid to deadhead to Greenville at months end if you were within a certain radius and they were short trucks? Chris asked me if I wanted to be on that list when I started.

 

I have done this a couple of times before and it has always worked out, here on day 4 I am still not a happy camper, half a day gone, and still no load, this will be my last time here.

Got a question for all the Koolaid drinkers, how bad is the winter slowdown? I have had a decent summer, better than I thought I would. I haven't hauled flatbed in winter yet so I have no idea what to expect. So what is winter like? Does freight keep running good or just die off? Gimme some blue koolaid!!!
