Awww come on, you don't wanna hang out in the wisdom lounge with all the top earners and listen to all the story telling going on. LOL. But ya I think I'd be hiding out in the lot behind the warehouse.TruckerPete1990 Thanks this.

The email stated they have a no idle policy on the campus , they have signs posted at the entrances stating this .
As stated in email it's not enforced very strictly, but with some activities in the area( unknown what activities) they simply ask that for 5 hours on one day, no one idles.
How hard is that to grasp? That's all they ask , 5 little hours, during the day when everyone likely would be awake .
How hard is that to do? But no doubt there will be someone who acts like it is the end of the world.
Its makes ya wonder why they are doing all that work on the new drivers lounge.

Might be strictly enforced as the email stated . Is it that hard to do that one day?Last edited: Aug 11, 2018

Its not that its the end of the world. Some of us got no choice but to be there and don't wanna be inside. Its gonna be almost 90 outside monday there so in the cab of a sleeper prob close to 100-110. I Just don't understand the no idle policy it makes no sense really. Now if they had like idle air at the yard then i could understand that.
Be honest if it was cooler i wouldn't care about the idle policy. Its just too dam hot for people to not idle.Last edited: Aug 11, 2018

I don't know anything about this but heck for the percentage they keep from O/O here they should have a nice top of the line lounge for the drivers which the current drivers lounge is anything but.
It wont benefit me anyhow I stop for inspections and to say hi to my coordinator for a couple minutes.
Then I'm out back to making money.spyder7723 and RStewart Thank this. -
It is if you've got pets and I prefer to hang out in my truck so I don't have to listen to all the lies a I mean knowledge being passed around at the picnic tables and the lounge. Plus, the last few times I've been to the lounge it's almost as hot in there as it is outside. Not sure why they don't keep it cool in there.
Guys just make sure you drink some of the blue kool-aide while you're there and that should keep you cool. Or just avoid the yard altogether. Now in Pete's case where they are making him come to the yard then they should not make things uncomfortable.spyder7723, thaistick, TruckerPete1990 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Last time I was at the Mercer lounge of "wisdom", it reminded me of a dirty bus station and a bunch of panhandlers hanging out in there.
The big topic at that time in the lounge of "wisdom" was how Frank Sinatra was in on the JFK assassination.....what a disaster lolLast edited: Aug 11, 2018
