Depending on the weight of The heavier soot particles I can see how it works same principle as a shop vac or some of the newer vacuum cleaners they have out do you know how often the drop pan needs cleaned out or what shops are installing they for us lazy people

I'm not sure if it will void the warranty. I'll try to find out tomorrow as I know a guy that was talking to Cummins about it. I'll see if I can find out what he learned about the warranty.

I'm putting one on my truck but I don't think I have any warranty.

1534471979000204534454771184321.jpg that's my Delta P sensor and I-Map sensor. Just replaced them yesterday. Both covered in soot. $150 for both. If you have a Cummins I would recommend looking those up on YouTube and swapping them out. Took maybe 5 minutes to do....

Can't they be cleaned and reused? Cheap enough to carry spares anyways

They're cheap enough that's it's not worth the hassle to risk just cleaning them.

    JonJon78 and TruckerPete1990 Thank this.

Yeah I plan on doing the tune up. Just wanted to make some cash first lol. Most of the egr stuff j can do in the parking lot. Just not the doser as I gotta drain the coolant

    JonJon78 Thanks this.
