Where did you get stopped? I know ohio has the CMV state police all over but seems that small stretch from the Petro in Girard to Truckworld on 80 is hot hot. See them working that area really hard.

Strangely Mercer fuels discounts are better than blue star.

I was going 77sb from Cleveland just before 271 I passed them and they pulled me over at the rest area on 271wb. I see them in the rest area all the time . I guess they use it for a safe pull off. I was running 62mph in a 65 zone just hanging by myself so my driving had nothing to do with it . And like he said the reason they pulled me over was the name on the door and the high score. I asked him wat it was and he said in the high 90s.

If you use Mercer's base plates they pay all Fuel taxes and the Oregon mileage tax

    Fixed it for you.

There are more states that charge a mileage tax besides Oregon. New Mexico and Kentucky are 2 of them. I think there are more. Kentucky calls it something else, but it is a mileage tax.

Dont forget ny. Plus 5 states have a surcharge in addition to the fuel tax you pay at the pump.

    Yep.

When I happen to make a trek across the 48, I used to calculate fuel costs with that included. Usually ended up more expensive so I'd skip that state. I think it was Virginia, not sure, that still ended up costing less than neighboring states.

It's been 6 years since i had to file my own ifta but then it was Virginia Indiana kentucky and 2 others i can't remember, Michigan maybe?
And you paid the surcharge no matter if you bought fuel there or not, just like ifta.
