What’s the point of leasing to a carrier to haul broker freight?CJndaTruck, back street slider, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this.

Exactly. If I was interested in moving CHR freight instead of giving Mercer 25% of it I would run my own numbers and pretty much instantly become an approved carrier for them.
I've called today on numerous loads that was either "no good" or "already moved". I sometimes feel they keep these bogus loads on the board to make ya feel they have more freight here than they really do. If it's already moved what's so hard with removing from the board so everyone's time isnt being wasted? Or they keep them loads live on our board to make it look like some of these Agents are actually working...
Between that and the load board issue they've been having here my patience is starting to run thin.
Been a frustrating day for sure. First day back to work today after nearly a week off, I should've just stayed home for another week. I'm telling ya.back street slider and PoleCrusher Thank this. -
Prob won't be here much longer so yeah xD

Anyone wanna take over my payments on my APU? Its just the Generator part no AC System with it lol
-
Can you keep it and just allow me to pay for it? I won't accept your offer unless you accept double the payments, this is non-negotiable, lolthaistick and TruckerPete1990 Thank this.

This is a big reason why I left Mercer. I was paying them 25% to find me broker freight. Really I didn't like paying the agents to find the freight. I was already doing the work looking on Mercer's load board so no need to pay the agents to look on the public boards. I didn't mind paying Mercer their share for using their numbers and insurance. I still rent an authority but my expenses are much cheaper than if I had my own numbers. Overall I would make about 5% more with my own numbers. I'm good with this arrangement for now. In a year I can go to the insurance company that I have my physical damage with and get liability and cargo without the new entrant price.
