That definitely happens here, I have pulled quite a few trailers so loads could be delivered. Normally the load pay is prorated based on miles each person traveled but it is also up to the 'rescue driver' to accept that or ask for more, the broken down driver is responsible for whatever it costs to get the load delivered. Sometimes Mercer will chip in and pay for the deadhead to get the trailer back, other times not. I have never had a trailer more than a few days after delivery, you will get priority to get a load back toward wherever the trailer needs to go.

Really happy with this 2350 cummins. The soot levels are really really well. Took off my doser valve at the housing thinking it would be toast. Nope thing was in decent shape. The Rest of my sensor wasn't even that bad.
