Keep saving that truck payment after it's paid off, $35k in 2 yrs...nice down payment.
I've done 4 d/h's in the last 20 months, but I've never had a single issue with their trailers. Couple of them have been brand new. The trailer rental has saved me several thousand dollars, 5 months off in the last 20 with no payment.
However, next year my running habits will change and buying a trailer might be more beneficial. New trailers cost around $30k, and 4-5 year old trailers have great residual value...$15-18k.
Don't hold back, tell us how you feel.... -
I think mercers vans are a rip off. 535 just to rent when us flat guys pay that to buy lol
-
What does the Yellow dot mean on the load board now?
-
It's 585 plus a milage fee over 7700/month.
I wouldn't call it a rip off, it's about market rate.... Much better than the deal that Landstar does and a lot of carriers include it in their percentage. But since it's a separate deduction I can get the tax benefit. Plus when I take off a month or three, I can turn it in and have no payment.
Works for me currently, that might change in the future...RStewart Thanks this. -
So i accepted a load its not showing under Matched loads. But i can't commit to another load even know its not showing im accepted or anything...
-
If you go to the load details page, what's it's say? Accepted?
-
