I do the same thing.....nothing gets purchased unless I'm getting a rebate/points from my credit cards. Becareful with business cards though, check the fine print on your user agreement, in the past, not so much now, but they didn't used to offer "no liability" on unauthorized purchases.
If you've got good credit and pay your bill every month (its a charge card vs a credit card), see if you can get the AMEX Platinum with the 100k point sign up bonus offer... big annual fee, but at least for me, the rewards more than cover it for the first few years.

 

when I had a windshield replaced one time they were able to put my GA amber light permit back on the new one.

 

These inspection stickers are a one time use. As soon as you try to peel them, they delaminate and the word void is all over the place.

 

3/4 of my sticker peeled away after a month anyways....
If that badge of honor is really that important, just request another level 1. I heard Banning gives them out like candy on Halloween.

Go back with a copy of last inspection, they will give you a quick inspection and a new sticker

 

IMO that's just asking for trouble.

 

I agree, but if you run CA alot no sticker is an open iviinvitat for an inspection. Usually when you don't have time to spare
