    I just signed on pulling a van so i really can't say to much. So far so good. Delivering in Portland this morn, then loading Christmas trees back to NC.

    Ok made it through 1st day:biggrin_2558:First i will tell you everone is very nice here, everything is very cut and dry.
    The only bad thing is i got back to my truck and another driver said to run as fast as i can, he said your lucky to make 1000 a week,
    Really, Is it this bad? Someone please Elaborate.

    Wow $1000 a week. He's working to hard. LOL

    Really it's how one works the load board. Kinda like having your own authority. Pick good areas and the right loads

    lol...may have been ole boy might not had a great business sense of mind to make any more than a grand a week. i read pretty much this whole thread and was just about to go to LS. i have done changed my mind. going to print out the app tommorrow and send it in to mercer.

    LS got to many over priced charge backs to the driver... workmans comp for one... the eobr prices they charge the driver. granted i uderstand the driver would have to pay but not there outragous price they are charging, compared to other companies only charging the driver 5$ a week... there was just not alot of positive feed back from the drivers on there thread... read nothing but positive feed on mercer

    A BCO told me if the truck is moved from one parking spot to another, the EOBR will pick it up and it has to be logged. Any truth? Sounds nuts to me.
