I wonder what the cost will be to have a automatic tire inflate system on my trailer would be. I'm loving them on FedEx trailers.

It may require different axles , but that's above my pay grade .I have pulled trailers with them ,I know where you are coming from

They are nice. Looking at getting a new trailer this year with it.

The only problem with the auto inflation devices, is if the device fails. Say it's set for 100psi, but it isn't functioning properly and only inflating to 75...how long before you notice? When the tire starts getting irregular wear, then it's too late. They kinda make us lazy, or out of sight out of mind...
If I was gonna spend the money, I'd invest it in a TPMS, gives pressure and temperature.
Until then, I'm good with my 3lb sledge and Loves tire pass every couple weeks.
Edit to add.... I do stab my steers with a gauge about every other day though.

Mine has a indicator light that will let you know if something is wrong with the system.

Yeah, some of the newer wagons here at Mercer have it, but I guess I thought he was talking about the crossfire system that he put on his truck. Do they have an indicator that they aren't functioning correctly?

Anyone still running JJ Keller. I've noticed this recently... When you change to on/off duty from driving, your new duty status time is in the future a few minutes. Only occurs when switching from driving.
(The time difference in hours is because of time zone differences). IMG_20181205_075149.jpg
