3.82.6718.180 did not update to latest version. Never good to update immediately in case there are issues.

The Meritor system is about $1100 for the complete add on parts kit plus the installation labor. Its the same as the oe system they supply to trailer manufacturers. It includes the warning light setup and the axle hub heat sensors.

I was quoted around 1900 installed by my dealer in Charlotte, that was 2 years ago. I'm keeping my Crossfires, they are easy enough to visually check, and one or two times a month use a gauge to make sure they are correct. I have had only one fail in 7 years and they replaced it with a new one no questions asked. TPMS is nice but does not completely equalize the pressure in both tires like the crossfire or auto inflation system does.

There is also the system sold by Michelin but the target fleet purchases and it is a real pain to try to buy them as an individual. They go on the wheel end similar to Crossfires and have a small pump in them driven by wheel rotation. I do not recall the price on them but they weren't cheap. Crossfiles or CatEye(?) is the most economical solution.

Sometimes the auto inflat system gets damaged during tire repairs due to carelessness and they you have a real problem getting that repaired. Tire guys don't like them at all, especially the mobile repair trucks, be warned.

Why not? No one at Mercer is aware of it, I just called logs and safety, and they are going to contact Keller. No point in complaining about it if you don't report it. No one can fix it if they don't know there's a problem. Take two minutes and report it to the log department.
